Lauren DeLaughter holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Georgia College & State University and a Master's degree in Human Development from Vanderbilt University. She currently serves as a Data Specialist for the Development team at GPS.
Before joining GPS in January of 2024, Lauren focused her career on empowering students and advancing educational initiatives. She began her career at Emory University, where she assisted with donor relations and development communications. At the Public Education Foundation of Chattanooga, Lauren managed communications and operations for a teacher training program. During her time at PEF, she transitioned into student-facing work, first as a college mentor for local high school graduates and later as an intern for the Vanderbilt Center for Student Wellness.
