Since 1998, Liesl Neubert has been teaching students of all levels. She started out as a special education teacher, working with students in small group settings and included classrooms. She then found her passion in teaching mathematics and has experience teaching mathematics in grades 7-12. She has taught pre-algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Algebra 3, pre-calculus, and geometry. Liesl has been a club advisor for National Honor Society and Building Bridges clubs. She also was an AVID teacher, a program designed to help students be college ready, and the AVID Coordinator. In addition to holding a teaching certificate in Tennessee, she holds certificates in Washington state and California and is also a National Board Certified Teacher. Liesl served as a master teacher for many student teachers in California and Washington. Liesl joined GPS in 2022, where she has taught pre-algebra to seventh grade and geometry to ninth and 10th grades. She has been a club advisor for Math Club and Math Help. Outside of school, she loves to spend time her husband, read, and bake.
