Renee Romero

Renee Romero started at GPS in August of 1998 as a Learning Specialist. She has also taught classes in the mathematics department. As a Learning Specialist, she is passionate about fostering academic excellence and personal growth among our students. With over 25 years of experience, she guides students to develop strategies to help them reach their fullest potential. She adopts a student-centered approach, focusing on each individual's unique strengths and challenges. Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and students, she develops personalized plans that enhance learning and promote confidence. Her expertise includes executive function skills and addressing learning differences, ensuring that every student receives the support they need to thrive. Her goal is to equip our students with the skills, strategies, and mindset they need to succeed academically and beyond.
