We are confident that our breadth of programming and thoughtfully designed environment will help your daughter become the best version of herself.

    For girls applying to GPS

Life at GPS looks and feels a bit different than what your daughter might be used to in her current school environment. During these formative years, a girl begins to discover who she is and who she wants to become. She needs a learning environment that will support her well on that journey.

At GPS, an inclusive and nurturing atmosphere allows girls to take risks, try new activities, and gain inner confidence that speaks volumes. Our faculty makes learning fun and engaging while also understanding how a classroom environment impacts your daughter's social and emotional health.

We invite all girls to spend the day on campus alongside current students to gain a glimpse into life as a GPS girl. Attendees will explore campus, attend classes, enjoy lunch, and end the visit with Chapel to see what a typical day is like!

    Additional Date Options:

  • + December 14 | Common Admission Test

For the 2025-2026 admission cycle GPS will require the common Admission Test designed for our middle school applicants. However, like previous years, we will no longer require the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT). Instead, along with Baylor and McCallie, GPS has collaborated to develop an admission assessment for prospective applicants. This assessment is a 90-minute paper-based evaluation with multiple choice sections for Mathematics and Reading with a separate Writing section.

The assessment aims to provide a more objective evaluation tool for all middle school applicants and is useful in identifying areas where prospective students may demonstrate proficiency and/or require additional support.

You are able to register for the date or location that is best for your schedule and results will be shared with those schools you indicate you are applying to.

If you have more questions regarding the assessment, or if these dates do not work for you, please email our office or reach out and schedule a quick call.
