Reed Solly started at GPS in August of 2023 teaching biology and honors biology. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in ecology from the University of Georgia in 2016, followed by her MAT in teaching in 2018. At UGA, she worked in an analytical chemistry lab studying urban freshwater ecosystems. She has taught physics, chemistry, and biology to students in Atlanta, Georgia; Boston, Massachusetts, and, now, Chattanooga, Tennessee. Reed loves teaching science and creating a classroom that gives students space to observe, wonder, and discover the world around them. She is proud to call a hotspot for biodiversity home and loves exploring it with her dog, Nora.
