Kimberly Reid '13

Kimberly is a versatile professional with a background in biomedical engineering, public health, and human resources. After graduating from GPS in 2013, she earned her undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Memphis before briefly delving into biomedical research on sensor technology for chronic conditions. Kimberly furthered her education with a master's degree in public health with a concentration in chronic disease prevention from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. In 2019, she was recognized as UTC's outstanding graduate student for public health and presented at a national American Public Health Association conference. In 2020, she returned to her alma mater to assist with COVID-19 response and later transitioned into human resources and the assistant cheerleading coach role. Kimberly's compassion for others has driven her pursuits in public health and human resources. As the Human Resource Manager at GPS, Kimberly is involved in onboarding, benefits administration, labor compliance, and payroll processing. Her commitment to professional growth led her to earn the Human Resources Professional Certification from the Society of Human Resources Management in 2023. Kimberly remains deeply appreciative of the education and support she received from GPS and strives to positively impact the lives of GPS community members.
