Heather Hammond

Heather has directed theater productions from kindergarten through college and has a true passion for educational theater. Leading as a teacher first, she approaches the theater classroom and the rehearsal space with a vision for belonging and growth—helping students begin where they are and move and grow as actors and individuals. Heather's experience in the English classroom spans several states and includes both public and private schools. Her true passion for literature is contagious in the classroom, where she creates a safe space for all voices to engage. She also spent many years as a professional editor and helps her English students grow as writers and communicators.
