Erin Segroves came to GPS in 2016 as a Spanish teacher with several years of experience in Hamilton County Schools. At GPS, Erin has taught Spanish classes spanning from level 1 to Advanced Topics, and she is passionate about creating a classroom environment rich in discussion and cultural connections. A lifetime lover of languages, she studied both Spanish and French throughout her high school and college careers, and she was thrilled to reignite her French language skills to teach French 1 and 2 at GPS. Erin also brought other talents to the school. With a background in journalism before her teaching career, she helps girls in Kaleidoscope tell the story of the school year in each yearbook that they create. Excited to join a school with a vibrant theater program, Erin has volunteered in every middle school musical production at GPS. Her contributions to GPS demonstrate her commitment to enriching the educational experience. Her expertise in languages, combined with her background in journalism and interest in the arts, adds value to the school community. Whether in the classroom, helping with the yearbook, or supporting theater productions, Erin positively impacts her students and colleagues at GPS.
