Brandon Noel is a conservation ecologist who is passionate about sustainability. He has been fortunate enough to work all over the world, providing a lens into humanity's incessant degradation of our environment. These experiences have also revealed progressive steps and options that can lead us into a more sustainable world. He enthusiastically carries this torch in an effort to transform our society. In order for one to think globally, they must start by acting locally before true progress is made. Individual actions are more powerful than the masses will lead you to believe. His passion for teaching and learning was discovered on an undeveloped barrier island in Georgia. After this discovery, he immersed himself in his education and experiences to figure out how best to work toward a more sustainable future. He considers himself a lifelong learner who is always pursuing the newest strategies in pedagogy, as he loves his students and the classroom. Lastly, prior to working at GPS, he was a college professor, and he utilizes his experiences in the field, classroom, conferences, and relationships to enhance opportunities, expectations, and learning styles variations to navigate towards a more sustainable future for not only his students, but his community.
