It is with great enthusiasm that we welcome you to the admissions process for Girls Preparatory School! The admissions office works hard to identify girls who are ready to accept the exciting challenge of a true college preparatory school for grades 6-12.
If you'd like to receive admissions materials or event invitations and are not sure if you are in our database, please click HERE to submit information, or call us at (423) 634-7645. Admissions materials for the 2011-2012 school year will be mailed in early September 2010.
True understanding of our community comes from experience. In the left menu bar, click an event for description and offered dates. Events are an enjoyable part of the admissions process and will allow you to see the benefits of GPS firsthand. While reading through event descriptions, please keep in mind that a parent tour, parent visit with an admissions counselor, and student visit are strongly recommended parts of the GPS admissions process. It is our desire that you feel equipped to make a confident decision about your daughter's school.
GPS wants to help your daughter realize and fulfill her potential.

"GPS students are not simply smart, athletic, artistic, or social. They are freed from those implicit social expectations to express their individuality and can participate in a wide range of activities without having those activites define them completely.
"They do not have to fit neatly into a category, so that the starting goalkeeper can score a 5 on her AP Art exam, the head of the Honor Council can have the lead in the musical, or the B-team volleyball player can dabble in model UN without feeling pressure also to be a perfect student, or a May Queen. Each carves her own path toward success which she determines for herself."
