Application Steps

Applying to GPS is simple! If you are interested in applying for 2011-2012 school year, you may do so by following these steps:

• Parents schedule an appointment with an admissions counselor for a parent visit.  Parents also schedule an appointment for a parent tour.
• Students schedule an appointment for a student visit. 
• Fill out an online GPS application and pay the online application fee.
• Applicants are automatically registered for the entrance exam. The exam will be given at GPS December 11, 2010 from 8 am - 12 pm.
• Deliver the transcript release form and the teacher recommendation forms to the applicant's current school.  Documents from the current school will only be accepted after completion of first semester, January 2011. Click Required Forms in the left menu to view the forms.
• If interested in Financial Aid for the 2011-12 school year, fill out the financial aid application after November 1, 2010 and schedule an appointment with Andrew Phelps, the financial aid officer at GPS. (423) 634-5440.
